GANNI Combine with Ace & Tate For Their Second Range of Sunglasses

GANNI is merging forces with Dutch eyewear brand Ace & Tate for a second edition of their sunglasses collection.

Combining the future-facing vision of Ditte Reffstrup (GANNI) and Torunn Gullaksen (A&T) with classic sweeps of nostalgia, the collection bounces back with five new models, in five different colourways; Twiggy, Dakota, Sadie, Kayla and Noel. Previewed at GANNI’s SS24 ‘HELLO WORLD!’ runway show, this edition lends itself to warmer vintage tones, celebrating a broad range of personalities and aesthetics. The directors place subtle cat-eye designs alongside more elaborate, 60s-tinged references, establishing a sense of timelessness throughout. Elsewhere, one can discover their inner raver through an aerodynamic shield-style frame that hints towards the Copenhagen fashion brand’s logo, shifting towards a cooler colour palette. At a glance, what brings the collection together is a smooth, chic edge, a welcome addition to the brand partnership.

Both aligned in their values of sustainability and encouraging consumers to lead a greener lifestyle, all 16 lenses are made up of innovative materials. Exclusively designed with recycled acetate and acetate renew bio, each model is protected by a pouch composed of sugarcane.

Now drawing focus towards the upcoming ‘Future, Talent, Fabrics’ exhibition, GANNI is spotlighting the next generation of designers who embrace the use of environmentally-friendly materials. Similarly, Ace & Tate gears up for the spring season, asserting their forward-thinking approach to eyewear.
