The designer shares her top Carnival tracks.

Fred Butler is more than just a designer, she’s a team player and all round good egg, as her Twitter page alone lets on.

The fact that her blonde – currently tinted purple – barnet makes its way to events across town on too many nights a week (serving her blogger duties), is further evidence of this; most of these events and later blog posts are in support of friends’ projects.

Her own projects to date include Red Bull Catwalk Studio, which saw her create a track with producer Two Inch Punch last year for London Fashion Week. Next up on her agenda is Notting Hill Carnival and another hook up with Red Bull (you’ll likely find her hanging out at RBMA Soundsytem come Monday).

Accessories being her game, Butler has created a selection of headpieces for the main event (read more on that here). Before all that though, Clash asked the London resident her top Carnival tracks, and here they are:

‘London Bridge’ – 4X4

‘Bum Bum’ – Timaya

‘Hold You’ – Gyptian

‘Rompin’ Shop’ – Vybz Kartel

‘Youths Dem Cold’ – Richie Spice
