A testament to its community-first ethos foundation fm has dropped its latest collection, hand-crafted by women.
Founded in 2018, foundation fm has formed a space that nurtures female-identifying talent and queer collectives from across the globe. Now broadcasting from its new East London hub, FOUNDATIONS, the radio station elevates its cross-genre curation over the airwaves, sharing conversations from the underground to the main stage. As the platform grows and evolves into new spheres, the last few years have seen the team launch their own record label and host festival stages, projecting their vision across collaborations and a forward-thinking merchandise line.
This time round, foundation fm draws together a team of future-facing creatives to dream up their brand new collection. First up, they unveil a series of bespoke customised hoodies and t-shirts from aircrush, injecting pops of colour through the use of airbrush techniques. The ‘jingle jangle’ keyring unveils the work of Sienna Murdoch, Steph Metal World and Gwynnie Naylor, delivering all of life’s true essentials with a bedazzled USB, a silicone scotch bonnet, a beaded wrist accessory, and a heart shaped bottle opener. Elsewhere, loose change, chewing gum and pull-tabs are transformed into the IT-girl phone case, a made to order collaboration with resins available in a range of different phone size models.
An exemplar platform that acts on the change it wants to see, foundation fm keeps its finger on the pulse, channelling a fun, sparkly spirit along the way.
