Raf Simons' releases his fourth collaboration with the lifestyle brand.

Carried for the most part like a clutch-the usual ease of a rucksack disparaged for the suave appeal of the former-last week’s Raf Simons AW13 show debuted the fourth collaboration between the man of the moment and Eastpak.

Producing both a collection for the catwalk and a second for the retail sector-available from June-the bags reinterpret the everyday rucksack with silks and stripes; six striped patterns and seven block colours. The latter is looking the same way, with a limited run of purple, navy, black/silver stripe and brown/navy stripe.

As Eastpak’s Vice President of Product and Merchandising, Toon Kympers sums it up, “the mutual understanding and respect between both teams has since resulted in yet another state-of-the-art collection: a project where two different worlds collide.”
