Originally launched in 1949, the dunhill Aquarium lighters are truly something to be admired. Each piece was hand painted and meticulously carved in Perspex with nature-inspired motifs, using light to give the impression of fish swimming in a mini tank.
To mark the seventy-year anniversary, dunhill are releasing a celebratory capsule collection featuring intricate illustrations of birds and fish on patterned lounge shirts, reversible bombers and a number of accessories.
Coinciding with the launch, the brand are also reissuing an extremely limited number of the Aquarium lighters, each will be plated in palladium and 19 carat gold before being individually numbered and engraved. To any lucky prospective buyers out there, start saving as each lighter is set to fetch up to £8,900.
