Duke + Dexter Playboy Collaboration

Airborne elegance...

Founded in London in 2015, footwear brand Duke + Dexter has become a household name for handmade pieces, sustainable practices and incomparable styles that always put comfort first.

Following a sell-out collaboration with Playboy last year, D+D x Playboy has returned with an airborne capsule that takes inspiration Playboy’s famous “Big Bunny” jet, taking us back to the golden age of elegant flying.

The collection features five pairs of penny loafers, each printed with bespoke designs inspired by vintage Playboy covers. The collection is extremely limited, with only 250 of each style available. Alongside the footwear, D+D x Playboy has unveiled a series of travel inspired accessories, with luggage tags, washbags, eye masks and a printed silk robe from London tailor and friend of the brand, Joseph Darcy.

Following a year in which the brand was inundated by VIP requests for smaller sizing to mimic womenswear, this collection also sees the introduction of women’s shoes for the first time at D+D. London based writer, DJ and model Sydney Lima stars in the campaign.

“This Playboy collab[oration] is another step forward in our mission to give our community something completely different. We’ve referenced Playboy’s amazing history with the designs, but we’ve also given it a direction that points to the future – it feels inclusive, progressive and empowering. It’s also an amazing starting point for us to launch our first women’s collection, after having so many people in our community reach out and request it, we’re so happy to be able to finally deliver what they want.”
