A.W.A.K.E. Mode Presents a Modern Take on Femininity for SS23

Finely tailored futurism...

Founded by Natalia Alaverdian in 2012, A.W.A.K.E. Mode has risen to cultural prominence over the last decade with a series of innovative collections that reflect the creative director’s affinity for fine craftsmanship, detailing and avant-garde designs for the modern woman.

Debuting at Paris Fashion Week last October with a collection that fused Scandinavian fairytales with a dystopian desert landscape. The London-based womenswear brand presented a series of technical designs that combined laser cutting, sharp tailoring and geometric elements such as asymmetric dresses and maxi skirts alongside oblique peep-toes for a bold reinterpretation of the feminine dress code.

The brand summarises the collection as “designs made with artistry in mind”, pointing to the elevated tailoring in cinched suiting, futuristic cuts and exaggerated silhouettes that fall neatly to the floor. The result is a refreshing take on a sophisticated wardrobe, rooted in dramatic futurism, Alaverdian still manages to deliver a lightness and wearability that has become synonymous with A.W.A.K.E. Mode.

A.W.A.K.E. Mode’s spring-summer 2023 collection is now available online.
