London-based designer Chet Lo is making waves with a lovestruck Tinder collaboration just in time for Valentine’s Day. The collection follows Chet Lo’s sexually charged SS24 collection which explored the designer’s sexuality in terms of queerness and Asian culture, delivering an unapologetic and authentic look at the raw and unpredictable world of modern romance.
Through a selection of slogan baby tees stamped with lighthearted, viral memes like ‘DON’T BE SAD. UR SO HOT’, ‘I WEAR MY HEART ON MY SLEEVE’ and ‘COULD BE URS THOUGH’, and a hat bearing Chet Lo’s signature spikes and the words ‘KISS ME’, the brand presents easy icebreakers front and centre.
“I’m thrilled to bring a unique blend of creativity and emotion to this collaboration with Tinder. From playful chaos to the vulnerability we often experience when dating, these designs capture the realness of modern dating and human connection. It’s an exciting exploration of love, fear, and the messy, beautiful journey we take in the world of dating.” – Chet Lo, Founder and Creative Director of Chet Lo.
“Our partnership with Chet Lo is a natural fit. It’s a brand that shares our vision of authenticity and embraces the diverse narratives that make modern dating,” said Tinder’s Senior Marketing Director for Northern Europe, Joanna Pons. “This capsule collection is more than just clothing; it’s a reflection of the realness, humour, and relatability that defines the dating experience of those using Tinder today.”
Chet Lo and Tinder are also donating 20% of the sales to akt, a charity dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth facing homelessness. Read more about akt’s mission here.
