Understanding the definite need for optimism in 2017, Cheap Monday have just launched a new capsule collection titled C/O, which sees five separate perspectives on ‘Only Positive Vibes.’
Approaching five different artists from a broad range of fields with this theme, a selection of boldly decorated tees and hoodies have been created in premium sustainable fabrics.
Contributors include Helen Bullock whose colourful illustrations have earned a huge Instagram following. Antwerp based graphic designer Tom Tosseyn whose previous clients include Raf Simons. Streetwear designer and fashion influencer Mago Dovjenko. Laurie Vincent – who is perhaps better known as one half of the Mercury Prize nominated band Slaves. And last, but by no means least, Clash’s very own Creative Director Rob Meyers, who has riffed on the record sleeve look for the project, pairing bold squares of photography with an album title style typeface.
Further pushing the message of sustainability that’s now central to Cheap Monday, a selection of jeans and jean jackets have been created to compliment these pieces, all cleverly crafted from post consumer waste.
The full Cheap Monday C/O range is available online, and in select retailers now.
