Detroit inspired designs...

Seeing the back of summer is never a thrilling idea, but at least a decent excuse to console yourself with some retail therapy. After all, you’re going to need a new Autumn/Winter wardrobe for the season ahead?

Top of Clash’s shopping lists come mid-August – when it finally hits stores, is Cheap Monday’s A/W ’17 collection, which is inspired by the U.S's new hub for the arts – Detroit.

Once home to thriving industry, the city later became known for it’s burned out and abandoned architecture, but has recently begun a chapter of rebirth, and is now often referred to as ‘the come back city.’

Reflecting this, the collection is grounded in a strong selection of classic American pieces – including denim jackets and flannel shirts, in blacks and greys, which are met by shocks of neon and metallic silver, to represent new sparks of energy. Just the trick for jolting you to life on cold and dark winter mornings.
