The house of Celine has released their second campaign under the watchful eye (and camera) of newly appointed artistic, creative and image director Hedi Slimane.
The AW19 collection takes inspiration from the brand’s archives, invoking preppy 1980s Parisian bourgeoisie with big-shouldered jackets, Prince of Wales checks, and crisp white shirts with high neck collars.
Lensed by Slimane himself, the the polaroid-esque campaign sees models Marland and Adriend shot in black and white with slight glances of colour in neutrals and blue denim.
An accompanying video campaign is set to the music “Yooouuu” by Shitkid.
