Carhartt WIP: Tomorrow’s Truths

The label employs Sara Sani to shoot a new editorial.

Just two girls, hanging out, looking cool, somewhere near the outskirts of Paris, ideally with a blue sky and natural light… is how one might imagine the brief for Carhartt WIP’s latest editorial read.

Shot by analogue fan Sara Sani – a self penned ‘world traveller, photographer, brand consultant, community manager’ with the Instagram diary to match – the series is a welcome display of the brand’s strongest womenswear pieces.

Mixing iconic numbers with a selection of seasonal newbies, the shoot taps a casual aesthetic in tune with the contemporary attitude of Carhartt WIP and its respective fanbase today.

An ode to spring as much as cloth – think that rush you get when you step outside for the first time and realise four layers is three layers too much – the line-up includes amongst its ranks the bib overall and Jill coveralls, check shirts and XL hoodies.
