C17 Denim Releases 90s Japanese Collection

Faded indigo...

We're in a decade of throwback styles and revivals, French denim brand C17 is leaning into this season's denim moment with a specialised Japanese 90s collection.

"After a year in the works, lots of trial and error and not settling for anything less than the best, it's finally ready" the C17 team tells us, "we are very happy to announce the arrival of our denim collection ready for SS21. The collection is set for release in mid-April, in the meantime here's eveyrhing you need ot know about the exciting new denim release."

Dedicated teams in two Japanese denim locations – the world renowned fine denim mill in Kahara, and a second in Kuroki who have been producing denim since 1950 and specialise in the rope-dying technique have been experimenting with speicalised techniques for over a year to perfect the latest collection from the French denim brand.

Truly designed for each individual wearer, the C17 Japanese collection is dyed a special indigo that changes and shades on every wash, with solid brass buttons which also fade and patina with each wear. Even the modernised 90s boyfriend style can be adjusted to high or low rise for your preference. The matching jacket features a unique short 'mandarin' collar and a detachable woven patch that can be easily unpicked and reattached elsewhere.
