Burberry is celebrating the next stage of the TB Summer Monogram collection with a campaign dedicated to the brand's history of exploration and combining nature and technology for limitless adventure.
First unveiled in August of 2018, Riccardo Tisci's TB Monogram is the centre of the latest collection. Cast across four global landscapes, the campaign follows on from the collection unveiled in July with a campaign fronted by Naomi Campbell featuring lightweight womenswear, menswear and unisex pieces including nylon coats and jackets, silk sets and dresses, swimwear, stretch jersey bodysuits and leggings, cotton hoodies and t-shirts and accessories, all printed with the Thomas Burberry Monogram.
Featuring a drone performance over Taylor Park Resevoir in Colorado, rock sculptures on the sands of Newgate Beach in South Wales, paramotors guided by TB Summer Monogram sails against the Chaka Salt Lake and Wusute in China's Qinghai Province and kite surfing across China's spectacular Boao and Wanning landscapes in Hainan Province.
"There's definitely a respect for the landscape because we're using materials that are there ready to be used. We're not bringing in anything. We're working with what is there." – Jon Foreman, Land Artist.
"There's something deep in our consciousness that connects us all when we look to the sky and just wonder." – Graham Hill, Drone Show Producer.
"This place is very special, and your mind feels so open when flying here. EVen when you have some troubles and worries, you will leave it all behind and you only have joy in your heart once you are in the sky." – Zong Ronglu, Paramotor Pilot.
"Basically, my life at this moment is that if I am not on the sea, I must be nearby the sea, waiting for the wind to come. Unloading the pressure in the cities and jumping into the sea and embracing nature." – Wang Lijie, Kite Surfer.
