Burberry Are Taking SS21 To The Great Outdoors

The new normal...

This September, Burberry is leaving the big city, and the usual fashion week schedule behind. As the spring-summer ‘21 season approaches mid pandemic, brands are looking for innovative ways to approach the runway experience.

Debuting on 17th September, Burberry is going digital to showcase the spring-summer collection. A live, physical presentation set in the English countryside will be streamed globally as the brand adapt to the new normal, and in an effort to reconnect with the purity and simplicity of nature.

“As humans, we have always had a deep affinity to nature. We have had to respect and rely upon its power for our very existence, whilst marvelling and revelling in its extraordinary beauty,” says Riccardo Tisci, Burberry's creative director. “Especially recently, we have all yearned to reconnect again and for this show, I wanted to celebrate these feelings by bringing our community together in a creative experience that takes place within the beautiful, natural landscape of Britain.”
