The UK brand launch begins with a party in Glasgow.
Blauer AW14

While Blauer USA began by supplying uniforms to the army, police and college campuses across the States circa 1935, today the brand is responsible for a more casual approach, providing America’s young things with jackets of the padded, leather and colourful variety; not to mention a full clothing line of denim and jersey.

AW14 sees the label make its way across the Atlantic, arriving on these shores with a celebratory one off party in Glasgow next week.

Set for the city’s Cruise store – at which Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club label held ‘A Printed History’ back in July – the event on Thursday will welcome both Paul Harvey, Blauer’s Co-Creative Director plus campaign face, the model Jimmy Q.

Tim Burgess of The Charlatans will be playing disc jockey – providing a full Americana themed soundtrack – as fans are invited to drink, mingle and admire Q’s tattoos in the shop’s new window display (a Blauer AW14 campaign takeover, so we’re advised).
