Ben Sherman Returns To Its Roots For the Launch of Two Mono-Brand Concept Stores

The British heritage brand unveils two new store locations in Brighton and Soho, hosting a number of exclusive events and giveaways.

Ben Sherman will launch two new retail stores in Brighton and Soho, marking a full-circle moment for the British heritage label.

Founded in 1963 following his travels across America, the forward-thinking designer opened his first factory in the rock ‘n’ roll hotspot’s Bedford Square. Since then, the lifestyle label has inserted itself across a wave of youth culture movements, defined by its high-quality, multi-colour polo shirts. Elsewhere, the brand has developed a number of historically rich partnerships, most notably merging forces with Team GB for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In turn, Ben Sherman finds a balance between innovation and classic silhouettes, asserting its relevance through smart casual garments, accessories and footwear.

Now returning to Dukes Lane with a 1,300 square ft. store, the brand will host a special opening event on August 24th where shoppers can experience the work of lauded fashion and music photographer Dean Chalkley. Offering mini takeaway portrait photo sessions for those in attendance, the artist will continue to occupy the space with a week-long exhibition, giving a warm welcome to the mono-brand concept store. Wrapping up the summer season with a parallel opening by the capital’s 97, Berwick Street, the brand continues to revitalise alongside new generations, re-telling its story in fresh and exciting ways.
