Avirex & Trapstar Launch Collaboration Featuring Iconic Leather Bomber

The campaign was shot in Miami and stars Louisiana rapper Rob49.

Trapstar and Avirex have partnered for the first time to deliver a capsule collection rooted in community values and celebrating the legacy and impact both brands have on the international music scene.

Trapstar, the London based streetwear brand and first fashion label signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, has become a symbol for London fashion and culture in hip-hop across the globe. Avirex however found its roots in the US military when it was founded back in 1975, but in the decades since has become a mainstay on the American hip-hop scene, boasting famous fans from Nas and Ludacris to Snoop Dogg and Rihanna.

The collaboration was teased back in September and features Louisiana rapper ROB49 in the campaign, further cementing both brands’ indelible connection to the international hip-hop scene. The limited edition collection features heavyweight hooded and crewneck sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps, and beanies alongside a dynamic redesign of the legendary Avirex Maverick flight jacket. A timeless piece in the Avirex history, the thick leather jacket gets a fresh upgrade with dual branded badges that spell TRAP down each arm.

The Avirex x Trapstar collection will be available to purchase from December 17th from avirexusa.eu and in the Averix London store.
