AMIRI Introduces The MA-1 Sneaker
An ode to 90s skate culture...
AMIRI has unveiled its latest sneaker for SS23. The MA-1 shoe pays homage to California’s 90s skate culture with an exaggerated, chunky silhouette and understated detailing.
The supple leather body of the shoe is contrasted with a soft fabric lining, translucent rubber outsole perforated panels. Thick white laces and a large cushioned tongue complement the shoe’s chunky base and minimalist tones.
Finishing the shoe, Mike Amiri’s own words are signed on the front of the tongue: “Engineered in California, inspired by precious memories. For the young and the young at heart.”
