Acne Studios Launches Denim Personalisation
Acne Studios has introduced a new personalised denim service, inviting customers to customise classic denim pieces with letters, numbers and symbols created specially by the brand. Denim has remained a core of the brand since Acne Studios creative director Jonny Johansson launched the brand back in 1996 by gifting 100 pairs of jeans to artists, creatives and friends of the house.
To celebrate the collection launch, Acne Studios invited photographer Thistle Brown to shoot a campaign that encapsulates the spirit of the 1970s with body painting on model and artist Lily McMenamy.
The brand offers a series of black and blue jean styles and Morris’s jackets for customisation with custom thread colours ranging from Acne Pink and Red to Cathay Spice and Green. Each item is allowed up to four characters, three letters or numbers, and one symbol. The symbols embody a playful spirit and embody “love, positivity and inclusivity.”
The collection is available to personalise and purchase online at acnestudios.com, alongside 60 more pieces mirroring those featured in the campaign.
