Acne Studios have teamed up with Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven to give us one of the most covetable capsules of the season. The campaign was captured in mid-air by none other than Viviane Sassen in Stockholm, and is completely unisex.
The new, collaborative branding, with exclusive fonts and logos, teamed with countless appearances by the Swedish flag shows that this line is a truly joint venture from both sides, and demonstrates a mutual respect between the two brands.
“I grew up with Fjällräven. If you are Swedish, you have a very special relationship with the brand. I’m very proud that it’s Swedish, and wanted to share our love for Fjällräven with the world,” says Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios. Acne Studios Fjällräven has been the perfect opportunity for both teams to get creative with classics from the Fjällräven archive. Acne has given timeless tees and puffa jackets a startling edge in their iconic pale pink shade, adding faux fur accents and reflective patches to boot.
The iconic Kanken backpack has been reborn in three new signature styles, the original backpack in an array of must-have colours, another version that can be switched up to a messenger bag and a cute mini clutch, meaning you never need leave the house without one.
Our top picks from this line are the effortlessly cool t-shirts with oversized camouflage pockets, the bright puffa jackets with faux fur trims and every piece of clothing featuring a beautiful Swedish landscape.
