Men with machines...

Experiencing Echaskech play live will change your expectations of what an electronic act can achieve in a performance. With their notoriously impressive visual show they are often compared to electronic heavyweights such as Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Orbital but with nu-skool pivot of dubby electro. No show is the same with these 'boys with toys' although their improvised live sets are usually sufficiently big that we should qualify them as 'men with machines'... Their unique style of melodic dance beats blends a spectrum of flavours; warm chord progressions with filthy subs and heavy crunching beats, all strung together within a seamlessly building set that is seductive and uplifting to the point of air punching euphoria. After the amazingly well received debut album 'Skechbook' in 2007 this summer sees the release of 'Shatterproof' an album of bone shaking electronica, and although these guys are relatively new on the scene this might be your last chance to catch them as 'unknowns'.
