From the curators of Secret Garden Party and Lovebox, comes the award-winning Wilderness Festival from 8th to 11th August.
Set in the Oxfordshire countryside, an amazing line-up of musical acts comes alongside theatre, cinematic, food talks, and late-night parties. Wilderness Festival is set within the stunning landscape of Cornbury Park, an 800-year old deer park enveloped by beautiful lakes and acres of private woodland.
The UK's oldest forest, the area possesses a real kin to nature and a protected environment for wildlife. Blending nature and good music together, Wilderness provides the perfect setting for live music, creating a rare experience.
Just announced acts include Martha Wainwright, Sam Lee, The Bees and London Grammar. After the release of her third album, ‘Come Home To Mama,’ at the end of 2012, the sensational folk-rock singer Martha Wainwright will take to the stage to much adoration. Her beautiful vocals and affecting lyrics will no doubt be a dazzling highlight at Wilderness.
Also just confirmed are the Mercury-nominated Sam Lee, with his innovative spin on traditional folk music, The Bees, energetically charged with an agenda of psychedelic rock, and the refreshing electro-pop outfit, London Grammar.
With their successful debut EP ‘Metal and Dust,’ London Grammar are bound to cause a stir. These freshly confirmed acts add to the musical mix of Empire of The Sun, Noah and the Whale, Rodriguez, Michael Kiwanuka, Tom Odell, Ghostpoet, Tribes, Matt Corby, Lucy Rose, King Krule, Melody's Echo Chamber, Eliza and the Bear, plus The London Folk Guild and Yellow Lounge.
Get back to nature (kind of) and enter out Clash competition to win some fun-fuelled tickets in the Wilderness.
