Win Tickets to See Fat Freddy's Drop!

Fat Freddy's Drop are returning to the UK this summer for two headline shows at the 02 Brixton Academy on 18th June and Birmingham's HMV Institute on the 21st June.
As anyone who has been to more than one can testify, no two FFD's shows are the same; long extended jams, soul drenched vocals and jazz harmonies, underpinned by a rhythm section as comfortable laying down a throbbing techy soundscape as they are swampy blues stomp. Their live show was captured in last years Live From The Roundhouse CD, recorded on the second sold out night at London's Roundhouse in 2008. The gig came at the end of a 6 week European tour just ahead of the release of their much acclaimed Platinum (NZ) selling sophomore album 'Dr Boondigga & The Big BW'.
Long term live favourites here in the UK, Fat Freddy's Drop (who are also set to headline Harvest At Jimmy's later this summer) were originally only meant to play one headline show this summer at the Brixton Academy, a venue they sold out back in 2006. However as the band explained, they had to add the Birmingham show for obvious reasons:
"This one's for Rob from Birmingham! Rob has followed the Freddys for years around the UK, always bringing the band fresh vegetables from his allotment. Because Rob couldn't make it to the Brixton O2 Academy show (originally the only UK gig this summer), the seed was planted for a trip to Birmingham."
Clash have a pair of tickets to give away for both shows.
