The autumnal weather seems to have been with us since, well last autumn. Despite this, one thing we can be certain of is that with the shortening of the days and the prospect of winter looming we can look forward to the seasonal return of Freeze festival to the capital along with Desperados.
Over the last few years Freeze has snowballed (!) into an event that not only treats us to jaw dropping tricks and outlandish daredevilry from the world’s best skiers and snowboarders, but also into a musical event that can often attract those who have no interest in snow whatsoever.
This heady cocktail of adrenalin, basslines, and the inevitable tipple or two creates an atmosphere that keeps you on your feet way past the last train home.
Following on from the successes of Parklife festival and Boardmasters and joining in the fun again this year with their own brand of entertainment is the Desperados Factory. This factory of fun is making its last stop in what promises to be a fitting finale. Combining all the best elements from the two previous outings, the emphasis is definitely on getting down and being entertained. The inimitable Rebel Bingo crew will be there lighting up the Factory with their unique take on, well, bingo. If you have seen these guys at work then you know it’s not your ordinary bingo hall experience.
Across the two days, the Factory will be hosting musical talent that is unequivocally aimed at getting you to shake your booty. Friday sees Ms. Dynamite, The Nextmen, Deekline and Major Look perform in the intimate setting of the Desperados Factory, whilst Saturday doesn’t disappoint either with sets from the mighty Shy FX, Raf Daddy (of 2 Bears fame) and Murkage.
As a media partner of Desperados, Clash have a pair of weekend tickets to giveaway to one lucky reader. All you have to do to win is answer this oh so simple question:
