To coincide with their Steve Lamacq takeover

This Competition is Closed

eMusic are set to open 2012 by allowing Steve Lamacq to introduce some of the best bands around.

The first artist curation of the eMusic UK site took place in October with Bjork, to celebrate the release of her new album/iPad app project Biophilia. The second collaboration with Steve Lamacq will see him contribute to eMusic’s highly regarded editorial content.

Exclusive features running as part of the programme include Steve Lamacq’s “Top Five of 2011” and “Five to Watch for 2012,” where he talks about the state of indie in 2012 and how the industry has gone full circle since the 1980’s. The site will also feature his “Twelve All-Time Desert Island Discs.”

“Discovering new and exciting artists is at the heart of everything I do. This collaboration with eMusic allows me to champion new music to other like-minded collectors,” said Steve Lamacq.

To celebrate DJ Steve Lamacq’s week-long takeover of digital music service eMusic, we’re offering you and friend a chance to win a 3 month subscription to the digital music service, so that you can download and own Steve Lamacq’s top albums of 2011 and his desert island disc selection.
