‘Ill Fit’ is taken from Wave Machines’ forthcoming album ‘Pollen’, which is out via Neapolitan/PIAS on 21st January next year.
The follow up to 2009’s ‘Wave If You’re Already There’, new album ‘Pollen’ was recorded between the band’s native Liverpool and producer Lexxs’s studio in London. The video for ‘Ill Fit’ reflects this geographical shifting as it features striking scenery and architecture from both of the aforementioned cities. Landmarks such as The Gherkin, The Shard and The Mersey Tunnel feature as directors Scott Spencer and John Brown cast a kaleidoscopic eye over their surroundings.
‘Ill Fit’, described by lead singer Tim Bruzon as “the fuzzy moment right before you make a decision to do something right or wrong, justifiable or unjustifiable… your last moment at the point of return”, is released on 22nd October via Neopolitan.
