Strange Boy Head To Snowdonia For ‘Corbusier’

Check out their ambitious, inventive new video...

Filming a music video can sometimes be a mundane, prosaic chore.

Not with Strange Boy, however. The band travelled to Snowdonia for their latest video, focussing on recently released gem 'Corbusier'.

Theo Davies directs the clip, and it focusses on the song's them of crafting something out of nothing – and how this can become an obsession.

For the clip the crew – including the band – constructed a 25 foot tall tower of branches, an ambitious undertaking.

Singer Kieran Brunt on the video:

"This song is basically about being inspired to create something special. In the video we wanted to look at this idea through a darker lens, so we worked with Theo, the director, to come up with a narrative that focuses on obsession."

"The story shows the different emotions a person goes through when they become fixated on an idea; excitement, ecstasy, terror, relief… It ended up becoming a pretty honest depiction of the creative process, which I hope lots of people can relate to!"
