There's a simplicity to what The Tamborines do.
A duo – Brazilian born, London based – their sound is little more than reverb-drenched vocals, reverb-drenched guitars and a floor tom.
Working at their Shepherd's Bush home studio, the pair's DIY ethics have resulted in some fascinating music. Upcoming album 'Sea Of Murmur' will be released on March 30th, through their own Beat-Mo Records imprint.
Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Indian Hill'. A plaintive piece of dream pop, the song's sparse simplicity recalls The Clean or even aspects of Cocteau Twins, while retaining that warm, DIY feel.
The video features some wonderfully fuzzy visuals, a stark adjoinder to the band's music.
