Premiere: The Nude Party – ‘Water On Mars’

It's taken from their incoming self-titled record...

The Nude Party first met in their freshman year.

Linking up at North Carolina's Appalachian State University, the band quickly found a shared passion for music.

And also for partying. Make a name for themselves as "the naked party band" the title quickly stuck, albeit with a slight abbreviation.

The Nude Party make cool-as-hell indie rock with a light pop touch, and their debut album will be released this summer on New West Records.

Produced by Oakley Munson of Black Lips, there are definite shades of that band's flower punk sound on display, but The Nude Party are resolutely their own band.

New song 'Water On Mars' is a delirious off kilter guitar pop jam, all splintered riffs and yelping vocals.

We're able to share the video before anyone else, and while it doesn't feature nudity director Kent Willard does concoct something striking, and surreal.

Tune in now.
