Flamboyant new clip...

The Irrepressibles are fond of flamboyant, ambitious gestures.

The group are known for their pro-gay love stance, taking their music to Moscow last year for an open air concert in front of 5000 people in the city's Gorky Park.

Recent album 'Nude' received widespread acclaim, with The Irrepressibles applying a near operatic sensibility to the synth-pop template.

Since then, the band have embarked on a series of EPs. 'Nude : Forbidden' EP will be released on April 7th, and it's one of the band's boldest statements yet.

Lead track 'Edge Of Now' was written by Jamie Irrepressible and reflects on his own experiences as a teenager.

Opening with the lyrics "I'm face down in the water, gulping, gasping to breathe..." it's an intense, remarkably frank document.

Given the visual treatment, the lavish video for 'Edge Of Now' features performers / dancers who are homosexual and heterosexual, transgender and cisgender.
