Premiere: Stalagmites – ‘Projectile Dysfunction’

Manchester risers with a dark, pop-etched sound...

Manchester risers Stalagmites seem to be catching a lot of attention.

The project kicked off in 2010, initially as a bunch of friends making music, before it became something more, something focussed last year.

Dark, pop-etched indie rock, the band recall early Interpol or Editors but with a slightly more open, almost psychedelic at times, approach.

New single 'Projectile Dysfunction' continues their rise, and follows fresh from acclaim by 6Music stalwarts such as Steve Lamacq.

It's a taut, imposing return – check out 'Projectile Dysfunction' below.
