Premiere: Slum Sociable – ‘Anyway’

Both oddly unsettling and utterly engaging...

Slum Sociable only have a single track to their name.

Yet the reclusive duo have already made an enormous impact. Aired in January, 'Anyway' has become a sleeper hit, of sorts, with its fragrant synths and colliding vocals really getting under your skin.

An evocative introduction, the track has now gained some visuals courtesy of ever-eccentric director Danny Cohen. The spellbinding clip opens in a scene reminiscent of a Rene Magritte painting, the surreal yet eye-catching colours matched against a pair of watching eyes.

The lengthy dance routine which follows is both oddly unsettling and utterly engaging – a ghost-like ambience which ultimately dissolves into nothing.
