Premiere: Pablo Nouvelle ft. Long Tall Jefferson – ‘Careless’

Filmed in a "surrealistic place in the middle of nowhere..."

Pablo Nouvelle is a wandering spirit.

Eventually settling in Zurich, the electronic talent has released two albums to date, matching superb songwriting to flickering electronics and an awareness of low-end abstraction.

For his latest trick, though, Pablo Nouvelle wants to take things further than ever. Matching instrumental hip-hop dalliances against torch-song, digital values, and more, new album 'Wired' defies categorisation.

Lead song 'Careless' is online now, featuring the producer rubbing shoulders against guest Long Tall Jefferson. We're able to share a 'live' clip, planting Pablo's full band in a bizarre but striking location.

He comments: "Once the album is done the songs keep evolving into different live versions. This is how we play 'Careless' live on tour at the moment, featuring Long Tall Jefferson who is part of my band for over four years now."

"After two days of rehearsals with the full band we drove to that surrealistic place in the middle of nowhere. It's an old granary where they store used tires. It was ridiculously cold that day and the mud still sticks on the feet of my piano today. Nevertheless it was a honest quick and dirty shooting of one of the key songs taken from the new album 'Wired'."

Tune in now.
