Premiere: Neon Waltz – ‘Heavy Heartless’

Soaring, anthemic songwriting from the Scottish group...

Neon Waltz are perhaps the hardest working band in the country.

The band's recent UK tour saw them clock up more than 1,400 miles on their trusty tour van, from their home in the Far North of Scotland down to Brighton and all the way back.

Each show, though, was worth it. Neon Waltz recently went into the studio with producer Rob Kirwan, working on their long-awaited, eagerly anticipated debut album.

With summer fast approaching the band are desperate to get back out on the road, and the Scottish band have pieced together a teaser.

New cut 'Heavy Heartless' has an anthemic feel, with their nascent psych-pop given added muscle following those lengthy spells in the studio and on the road.

Frontman Jordan Shearer tells Clash: "The release of 'Heavy Heartless' really starts the countdown to what we know will be a special summer, with our debut long player on the way and the chance to get back on the road to play a string of festivals and some celebratory, album launch dates. Can’t wait to share it with everyone."

A wonderful return, you can check it out below.
