Premiere: Lust For Youth - 'New Boys'

Ahead of their UK tour...
Lust For Youth

Copenhagen's music scene is rapidly blossoming.

On a near daily basis the Clash Inbox groans with Danish newcomers, with the sheer diversity of sounds emanating from city inspiring in itself.

Lust For Youth have a sweeping, dramatic synth pop sound. Very much fellow travellers of the minimal wave scene, the group seem to take early Depeche Mode, Human League and more modern groups such as Ladytron as a source of inspiration.

New album 'International' is out now, a record as fuelled by visual art and gin 'n' tonic as it is by downbeat melodic flair. Stripped from said LP, 'New Boys' has a glamorous sense of melancholy, with the post-punk guitars spiking their way through singer Hannes Norrvide's gossamer vocals.

Lust For Youth have scheduled the following UK shows:

September
23 Glasgow Broadcast
24 Birmingham Alfie Birds
25 Dublin Bello Bar
26 London The 100 Club
27 Manchester Soup Kitchen
