Isle of Wight collective return...

The British are obsessed with work.

As a nation, we work harder than any other in the EU, clocking up longer hours and shorter holidays than any of our neighbours.

Yet this also seeps into our national character. It's an intriguing paradox, one that Isle of Wight collective Lucky Elephant tackle on their new track.

A typically warped, woozy slice of folk inspired songcraft, 'British Working Man' matches a sense of tradition to some very modern sounds.

It's a gleeful romp, one which pairs continually-in-flux production with a deeply British vocal sample. A video for the track has been constructed, using some beautiful stop motion animation.

Following the working day in London, the city's many iconic sights are replicated in humorous yet loving fashion.

Check it out now.

Lucky Elephant are set to release their new album 'Rainy Kingdom' on August 25th. 'British Working Man' will be available as a download for anyone who pre-orders the album.
