Lowell has friends in high places.
Choosing her name from the French word for 'wolf', the rising artist first attracted attention after working with the Apparatjik collective, featuring members of A-ha, Coldplay, and Mew.
Now working with Canadian label Arts & Crafts, the Toronto based songwriter is now focussing on her new EP.
'I Killed Sara V' is out now, with Lowell displaying a uniquely fractured artistic sensibility. Produced by Martin Terefe, it matches subtle pop hues against a delivery marked by a remarkably intensity.
With hype around the EP lingering, Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Palm Trees'. A whirlwind of noise and imagery, the distorted film effects explore an alternative view of gender and sexuality.
