Premiere: Liam Bailey – ‘Love My Neighbour’

A politically charged new video...

Nottingham vocalist Liam Bailey was discovered by the late, great Amy Winehouse and recorded two EPs with the singer.

Recently co-writing a Top 5 hit with Chase & Status, Liam Bailey will see out a year of enormous ups and downs with a new single.

'Love My Neighbour' is soulful and stripped down, a plea for understanding in a time of huge division. He says: “I wanna give a big shout-out to all these everyday people, keeping their heads together, trying to make ends meet in this man-made world we can’t control where any which one of us can be bought or sold.”

Clash is able to premiere the video, and it pits this soft, tender lament against scenes from protest marches taking place across the globe. Liam explains that the single "is a personal reflection on my struggle with love in all the different aspects of life. For the video, I wanted to put together different human stories that are shaping this world at the moment, along with the historic ones, and show how the quest for love and understanding never ends."
