Premiere: Lancelot ft. Antony & Cleopatra – Givin’ It Up

Triumphant house from Down Under...

The Australian dance scene is a curious beast.

For starts, the country is so enormous, so extravagantly huge that an Australian sound – in the manner of, say, an English, French or German sound – simply doesn't exist.

However the land Down Under does boast a thriving, an increasingly vital network of producers, DJ and labels, all with their own identity.

Lancelot has been steadily building his reputation with the likes of MK, The Magician, Bondax and more citing him as an inspiration.

Working with Anjunadeep, the producer's latest track features guest work from Antony and Cleopatra. 'Givin' It Up' is sheer sunshine house, which is perhaps appropriate given that its release falls right in the middle of the Australian summer.

Out this week, 'Givin' It Up' was premiered by T. Williams on his Radio 1 show. Opening with soulful vocals and taut strings, Lancelot builds the tension until that fateful first drop and things really begin to kick off.

The accompanying visuals feature a group of kids in matching green retro tracksuits, whose deeply physical dance routines light up an abandoned industrial estate.

Watch it now.
