Producer reflects on his breakthrough year...

Of course, it looks like a dream.

DJs are travel from city to city, country to country, with enormous crowds celebrating their every move. Who wouldn't like that?

Yet it can also be draining. DJs Complaining may well be skewed in its approach, but it does emphasis that continual travel and near constant partying can take its toll.

The truth, as ever, is something in between. Snapped up by MTA Records and lauded by Chase And Status, Kove has watched his star rise over the past 12 months.

Playing to bigger and bigger crowds, the DJ has achieved things he never thought possible. Yet in interviews, the producer remains self-deprecating, with a sense of humour which is both humble and gently self-deprecating.

Shooting a number video interviews of late, Kove recently sat down in Putney to reflect on his recent success. With a pint of Guinness in his hand and a smile on his face, it's an endearing chat, one which reveals both the glorious and uncomfortable truth of life on the road.
