Directed by Ben Reed...
Joan As Police Woman

It's been almost a decade since Joan Wesser launched her solo career with 'Real Life'.

Released in 2006, it established Joan As Police Woman as a unique voice, a songwriter with a distinct personality and her own way of making music.

Since then, the singer has gathered a cult following which extends around the globe. New album 'The Classic' gained widespread praise, with the American artist continuing to blossom, continuing to accept new challenges.

Fresh from a wide batch of European tour dates, Joan As Police Woman is currently recuperating in New York before flying out to Japan for yet another series of concerts.

Before then, though, Clash can unveil the stylishly shot video to 'The Classic' highlight 'Witness'. Directed by Ben Reed, it was filmed in black and white, with its monochrome symbolism utilising clever plays on word association and sign language.

Watch it now.

Joan As Police Woman is set to play the following UK shows:

5 Edinburgh Liquid Rooms
6 Holmfirth Picturedome
7 Manchester Gorilla
