Jenny Wilson

During the student riots which engulfed Paris in the summer of 1968, one slogan stood out amongst many: 'Be Reasonable, Demand The Impossible!'

It's slyly contradictory, almost amusing. Yet there's a sullen truth hidden in there, a recognition that, often, the path to claiming our goals is both simple and difficult to trace.

Diagnosed with cancer, Swedish songwriter Jenny Wilson was suddenly forced to recognise her own mortality. As treatment commenced, the singer allowed her thoughts and feelings to fuel her music.

Now given the all clear, the Scandinavian artist aims to pull these moments of inspiration together in the most direct way possible.

New album 'DEMAND THE IMPOSSIBLE!' drops later this year, with Jenny Wilson stating: "I wanted to make a brave, explosive and fantastic album. I am very proud of it, I think I've never written lyrics with a sharper pen - ever."

Yesterday (February 17th) Clash was able to premiere a Trentemøller remix of new cut 'Pyramids (Rose Out Of Our Pain)'. Now, we are pleased to offer us the video for Jenny Wilson's stirring original.
