Premiere: Jaded – ‘4000Hz’

Sometimes these things just pass you by.

When rising electronic trio Jaded were netted by Black Butter Records’ ‘Spread Love’ series, many thought they were complete newcomers.

In fact, the three-piece had already delivered a number of high profile remixes, including one for none other than Sir Paul McCartney.

But then, their hyper-real sound was never going to escape attention. Lucid synths, lush textures, and sprung, UKG aligned rhythms, the group have a sound that is undeniably addictive.

New cut '4000Hz' matches underground sounds – think Le Tigre, early DFA Records – with an ineffable pop touch, a day-glo reality that illuminates each note.
