The calendar has ticked over into June and sun is streaming into the Clash office - summer is finally here.
Cadenza seems to have picked up on this mood. The London artist has a defiantly UK attitude, but it keen to pilfer some of the forward thinking sounds of Jamaican dancehall.
New cut 'Foundation' positively drips in good vibrations, with both Stylo G and Busy Signal on hand to ramp up the energy. As a nod to their roots, the track samples the iconic 'Real Rock' riddim - initially released in 1967 and a cornerstone of dancehall's development.
Available to pre-order now via The Full Hundred, Sony Records UK, Clash is able to premiere the official video for 'Foundation'.
A Studio Moross Film, the clip was directed by Anna Ginsburg and it's a wonderfully vibrant fusion of colour and illustration.
