PINS have always presented themselves as a girl gang, as a unit.
Sure, this has its antecedents - they wouldn't be wearing those leather jackets if there weren't - but it's an idea which feels new, strikingly modern.
Perhaps that's the way in which PINS present themselves. In their photographs, in their statements to the press, the Manchester group always appear composed: effortlessly stylish, yes, but with a genuine sense of depth and purpose.
Once more working with director Sing J. Lee the group have just unveiled new video 'Girls Like Us'. A stomping, purring hymn to self-mythology, there's an honesty here which always pushes through.
Striking shot, you can watch the video now.
