The power and the glory of the simple guitar riff is still something which can send shivers down our spine.

Sure, given the weight of history it might be impossible to conjure something truly original, but - when it's done right - a riff can say more than a thousand words. Which is why we're getting pretty excited about MUST.

The band only formed last summer, with the four piece rifling through their Sparklehorse and Teenage Fanclub albums before beginning to write material of their own. With just a handful of shows under their belt the band have quickly drawn attention to themselves.

Seeming to improve with each passing performances, it was inevitable that MUST would head into the studio at some point. Now the group are ready to unveil their debut EP.

Released on (what else?) cassette through Heart Throb Records, producer Oliver Bayston has helped MUST make the shift from live to studio entity. Containing three tracks - ‘Just Wait’, ‘Graceland’ and ‘Die For You’ - ClashMusic are pleased as punch to be able to offer up a new preview.

Shot by Edward Housden, the clip for 'Just Wait' has all the energy of their live show, with MUST displaying some riffs, glorious riffs...

Watch it now.
