Featuring Katy B...

Could Mosca become a genuine, bona fide pop star?

The producer is best known for crafting underground anthems, with his UK Garage referencing cut 'Bax' foremost amongst them. An absolute dancefloor staple - what big name DJ hasn't dropped this over the past 12 months? - it could now be set to race into the official charts.

Bass princess Katy B added her vocals to the track earlier this year, with early spins on Rinse quickly being ripped and going viral. Re-tooled as 'What You Came For' it's a slightly sharper, slightly faster take on the original, with plenty of sassy lyrics on top.

Out now on Rinse, 'What You Came For' has been gaining airplay in some unusual places, introduced by the sort of presents who would never dream of dropping a bass anthem. Now that's what we call subversive...

The video for the track features Olympic gold medalist Nicola Adams working out in the boxing ring. Matching Mosca's production against Adams' visceral moves, it's a lateral take on the ferocious energy in 'Bax' garage rhythms.
