New talent have a tough time getting their voices heard.
For many, simply getting their music out there and gaining an audience - any kind of audience - is the biggest challenge of all.
Last year, though, UBR (Emerging Icons) stepped in to aid a number of unknown acts. Longfellow were amongst them. In the space of 12 months, the band performed at the London 2012 Olympics while lead singer Owen Lloyd earned a publishing deal with Universal.
Now the group are ready to unveil their debut single. 'Gabrielle' is a tale of love lost and found, of life and death, of euphoria and heartbreak - it's a tasty little number.
Crisp and commercial, 'Gabrielle' outlines Longfellow as a band to keep your eye on. Handing the video for their new single to Clash, you can watch it now.
