Katzenjammer’s Sol Heilo Sculpts A DIY Stop Motion Video

It's both highly creative and totally affecting...

Norwegian indie folk outfit Katzenjammer may well be familiar to you.

Critically lauded and internationally successful, the band's Sol Heilo recently felt that the time was right to focus on a solo project.

New album 'Skinhorse Playground' arrives on October 27th, a fantastically creative document that experiments while refusing to give up its pop leanings.

New single 'Killing Karma' is the perfect example of where Sol's head is at. Multi-layering her vocals to create a fifty strong gospel choir, the chorus is a soaring, powerful rejection of poisonous relationships.

The video continues this ferociously independent streak. Designing her own dolls, the clip was crafted, produced, and directed by Sol Heilo herself, and it's a fun, and totally affecting document.

Tune in now.

'Skinhorse Playground' will be released on October 27th – pre-order LINK.
